How do I use AquaStart™?

Drain any excess liquid in the bag, then sprinkle AquaStart™ on starter feed to attract and hydrate day-old poultry. 
 

How many chicks or poults does one package support?

One package can hydrate approximately 100 chicks or 60 poults. 

 

Is AquaStart™ only for chicks?

AquaStart™ is intended for all poultry, including day-old chicks and poults. 


Does AquaStart™ replace fresh water?

AquaStart™ is a hydration supplement and feed attractant used as a topper. Birds should still be provided fresh water as part of normal brooding/placement practices. (Use AquaStart™ as support, not a replacement.) 
 

What’s the shelf life and how do I store it?

AquaStart™ has an 18-month shelf life at room temperature. No refrigeration is required if unopened. 
 

What are the ingredients?

AquaStart™ contains: Purified water, corn syrup, hydrocolloids, food acids, modified food starch, electrolyte blend, calcium acetate, betaine, food colors, and EDTA.
